Al Mar Restaurant

Hotel Gran Sol has a stylish, inviting restaurant with a large terrace: Al Mar Restaurant. This restaurant can accommodate up to eight diners in a warm, pleasant setting that boasts large windows and offers beautiful views of the beach and sea. Traditional Andalusian dishes are served in our restaurant, with the cuisine available being based on select products from the sea and surrounding area. We prepare all kinds of tuna, white prawns, salted fish, jig-caught squid and many, many more freshly caught products.
 
We also go to great lengths to prepare our Retinto beef, including sirloin and entrecôte. The meat we use comes from our own cattle that graze in the fields of Tarifa. Furthermore, we offer a huge range of rice dishes tailored to our clients' desires. Restaurants in Zahara de los Atunes host two weeks dedicated to cuisine every year: one in May for tuna and the other in September, for Retinto beef. Our restaurant has been participating in this event since it began, and we always receive exceptional comments and a prize. At Al Mar Restaurant you will be able to enjoy some of Andalusia's most symbolic cuisine while you relax and chat with your family and friends in an incomparable location.
 
Guests can also make use of our lovely terrace while enjoying lunch or a snack. This area provides a laid-back atmosphere and views of the Atlantic Ocean. We also offer clients the option of hosting events: we have a room that can accommodate up to 100 guests, while the restaurant can also be adapted for different celebrations and occasions.
